At JSP Insider we want all our users -- including our advertisers -- to find real value. To that end, JSP Insider provides advertising in slots. Each month 45 slots are available, with each slot receiving a minimum exposure of 1/45 of the total advertisements shown on the site that month. If less than 45 slots are filled in a given month, then each filled slot receives a higher exposure on the site.
Advertisements are rotated through two locations on each page, at the top and bottom. This doubles the total number of advertisements per page view.
This example is a full banner ad as viewed on a 1024/768 resolution screen. Half banner ads are approximately half the width and icon ads one quarter the width.

| If we served 400,000 page views in a given month, we would also serve 800,000 advertisement views. Then, if we only sold 10 slots for that month, each slot would receive 80,000 advertisement views! If we sold all 45 slots then each ad would receive a minimum of 17,600 ad views. |
The slot system affords our advertisers a great value. You will never receive less than 1/45 of our advertising space in a month for each slot you buy. As our site traffic is always increasing your investment will continue to yield greater dividends. Plus, when slots remain available during a month you will get even more exposure on our site. In a typical month the slot system will provide many more ad impressions than a similar investment in a more familiar pay-per-1,000-impressions format.
Three ad sizes are available at JSP Insider, each with it's own monthly rate.

Advertising campaigns using 3 or more slots or running more than 2 consecutive months are eligible for discounts. Purchasing slots for two or more consecutive months locks in the rate for that entire period. You may change the advertisement you display as frequently as once each month, subject to the requirements below. No more than 20 slots at any one time will be available for advertising campaigns of more than six months.
The advertisement must be sized to our Icon, Half Banner or Full Banner dimensions. The ad size is fixed per the terms of the advertising campaign for an individual slot. For example, a Full Banner ad may not be substituted for an Icon or Half Banner ad unless such a substitution was stipulated in the advertising agreement.
The JSP Insider Crew will review the advertisement to ensure it is consistent with our site goals and content. We reserve the right to refuse any advertisement at any time. Note, this requirement also applies to multi-month campaigns where the advertisement is being changed on up to a monthly basis.
No single advertiser may purchase more than 10 slots.
No advertiser may sublease a slot to a 3rd party or place advertisements for a 3rd party in any slot.
In the month of April 2001 our site served up 255,000 full pages. (We actually served up more, but the number reflects the pages with ad views available). This represents 510,000 ad views. Our site traffic is consistently increasing by 10% to 25% each month.
