About

Welcome to JSP Insider! We're here to help programmers successfully use JavaServer Pages(JSP), Servlets, and J2EE. This site was established by Jayson Falkner and Casey Kochmer way back in the day of JSP 1.1. and Servlets 2.2. Since then, we have grown to be one of the most widely used resources for JSP and Servlets, and Jayson and Casey have continued to be avid supporters of the JSP and Servlet communities. Following the free, open-source model that the JavaServer Pages and Servlet technologies are developer with, this site is completely free and open for your use. It is our intent to provide a good, free place for JSP and Servlet developers, and you will never have to register with us or worry about this site trying to market your personal information. Simply take our shared knowledge and use it!

How do we support this site?

This site exists because two people, Jayson and Casey, want the help the JSP community thrive. We certainly make little to no money directly from the site; however, the site does serve as an excellent method of advertising our skills. Both Jayson and Casey have working with Java, Servlets, JavaServer Pages, and a plethora of other Web development technologies. We know how to build web applications -- even in the non-Java world (obviously this site attests that we don't prefer .Net, PHP, Perl, etc.) -- and we are always looking to use our skills.

The best way to support this site is to support the developers, Jayson and Casey. If you are a single developer, consider picking up a copy of Jayson's book Servlets and JavaServer Pages; the J2EE Web Tier. If you enjoy the tutorials we have here, you will love this comprehensive guide to building Web applications using the latest version of Servlets and JSP. If you represent a company or other commercial interest, please contact support@jspinsider.com. Casey and Jayson are both partners of Amberjack Software LLC and are willing to discuss business oppertunities, especially if you are interested in our training or consulting services.
